Date and Rasberry Pie

For Crust
1  cup butter 
2  cups flour 
4  tablespoons icing sugar
For Filling
2  cups chopped pitted dates 
1  cup water
1  cup Rasberry Jam 
1 1/4  cups brown sugar 
1  tablespoon lemon juice 

1. Blend crust ingredients together until dough is smooth in consistency. Press into small round pie dish, ensuring that the dough goes up the sides so that the pie can be filled. Bake at 190 until light brown.
2. Meanwhile create filling: Place ingredients in a saucepan- cook over medium heat until ingredients are well blended and have come to a boil.
then Fill shells and place in oven for 10 minutes.

Remove and cool. Chill before serving.
