- One 12 to 15 lbs turkey (fresh is best but frozen is ok too) -Some salt and pepper - Pure Apple juice - Two handfuls of soaked apple woodchips
1. Fully thaw turkey if frozen. 2. Season the turkey with some salt & pepper 3.Add some apple juice on it, covering the whole turkey in the juice & leaving it in fridge for min of 24 hrs. 4. Heat the smoker to about 275F temp and add turkey and wood chips. 5. Cook for about 6 hrs or once meat temp reaches about 165F in the breast.
